Who's Dominik?
Hi, I'm Dominik, a passionate traveler and community builder from Austria. My journey began after graduating from tourism school, where I gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry. A spontaneous trip to Fuerteventura ignited my love for travel, leading me on a three-month backpacking adventure through Indonesia, where I connected with incredible people by staying mostly with Couchsurfing-Hosts, who became friends.
This experience sparked a lifelong passion for exploring the world and building connections across cultures.
My adventurous spirit led me on a cycling journey from Carinthia to Rome – An ambitious undertaking with no prior experience. But I couldn’t get the idea out of my mind, without actually trying it. So I bought a bike and a tent and started. While my knee unfortunately gave out halfway through, the experience taught me valuable lessons about perseverance and adaptability.

The trip I enjoyed the most was to Morocco. With its vibrant chaos and warm hospitality. My original plan to see the entire country was postponed when I discovered Imsouane, a coastal paradise with breathtaking ocean views and unforgettable sunsets, made me stay for months.
One of my most fulfilling jobs was working as a Surf-House-Host on Gran Canaria. Welcoming guests, organizing excursions, and ensuring everyone had an amazing time was incredibly rewarding. It solidified my passion for creating memorable experiences for others and fueled my desire to become a TripLeader.
